About The Teachers

MRS TIMBERLAKE
I spent 8 years teaching 2nd grade in North Carolina.  This is my 3rd year at GCS.  I grew up in Erie, 
Pennsylvania where my family still lives.  I moved to Empire, Co in 2006.  
Besides teaching I enjoy running, biking, martial arts (I taught a 
childrens' Jui Jitsu class 3 nights a week), rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, 
rafting, --pretty much anything outdoors the challenges me.  I 
love Georgetown--the staff, the community, and of course the children.  I am 
ready for an incredible year!

Mission For The Class

Our mission is to have fun while learning throughout the year.  We promise to be nice 
to the new friends we make--always helping them.  We will respect our teachers and 
principals.  We will have great fun ADVENTURES in and around Georgetown.
